The red queen

I loved this book. I read in a week and that is saying something as I have two kids and not much time for reading. So as one could imagine I am so so tired as I have not slept long. This book was entertaining a war between silver and red blood and a star cross lovers twist. Who is a girl to pick when you have brothers fighting for your attention and cherry on top they are both princes. One to be king one that wants to be king even more. I recommend this book 100% can not wait for the second book.

Writing

Prior to writing my book I started taking a creative writing class to understand the basics. Then I needed help with organization and to take the creative thoughts and put them in to an orginized matter was actually easier than I once thought. Then I found that my short story was turning more into a book. The more I wrote the more it turned into something more with something I didn't expect. The interesting thing to me is where my brain took the book. I started with an idea and ended with something totally out of the realm of what I started with. And the best thing of all it was actually better than my original idea. I have been writing for over a year now starting over twice. I don't think I am great but I do think it's fun. When o finish I do plan on sending it out to publishers and magazines to see if anyone else thinks that it is interesting. It all started with a love of reading.
